Coalition leader:  50+ Hellas 50+ Hellas is a Non-governmental and not-for-profit organisation which aims to improve the quality of life of those over 50 years of age in Greece, within a more equal society and through actions and activities affecting all aspects of life. In cooperation with other social partners, it supports and promotes the rights of older people to equal treatment in society, particularly in employment, in health and medical care, in their independence and decent living standards, in their right to participate as full citizens in decision making as well as in the development of policies affecting them. The organisation also promotes the interests and support of dependent older people and their families and the professionals who care for them.

WeDO2 partner: Hellenic Association of Geriatrics and Gerontology (HAGG) Hellenic Association of Geriatric and Gerontology (HAGG) is a non-profit NGO based in Athens, Greece. HAGG promotes gerontological training and research in Greece and interacts with other national, international, inter-governmental and non-governmental organizations in the promotion of gerontological interests. HAGG is a member of International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics (IAGG), organizes the Hellenic Congress in Geriatrics and Gerontology as well as special training in Geriatrics. HAGG’s main goal is the enhancement of older people' quality of life and well being. HAGG participated in many EU projects early in the 1990’s, but not during the last five years.
