The Irish coalition organised the launch of the WeDO quality framework on 29 January 2013. The WeDO principles were endorsed by the Minister Lynch. More information here:

Coalition leader: Third Age

Third Age is a voluntary, community organisation which aims to empower local communities throughout Ireland by promoting to best effect the resource its older people represent. As well as providing a centre for local activities and programmes for older people in Summerhill, Co Meath and a wide catchment area, Third Age operates a number of national programmes, acts as an advocate for older people and forges useful alliances with other age sector and community organisations working together for the betterment of people of all ages in Irish society.
